
Ambassador Ahmed Sareer, appointed by the Maldives to Kuwait, has presented his credentials to Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya today.
The credential presentation ceremony was held at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry today.
Following the ceremony, Ambassador Ahmed Sareer met with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and conveyed greetings and best wishes from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to the leaders, government, and people of Kuwait. The Ambassador highlighted the long-standing close relationship between the Maldives and Kuwait and thanked Kuwait for its assistance in various development projects. Ambassador Sareer assured that he would work to further strengthen the ties between the Maldives and Kuwait during his tenure.
In his remarks, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister welcomed Ambassador Sareer on the start of his new term. He expressed his wishes for success in fulfilling the responsibilities as the non-resident Ambassador of the Maldives to Kuwait.
Counsellor Ahmed Fazeel from the Maldives Embassy in Saudi Arabia accompanied Ambassador Sareer at the credential presentation ceremony.
In addition to being the Ambassador to Kuwait, Sareer is also the Maldives Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
