In the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, Bayern Munich defeated Auckland with a massive 10-0 scoreline in last night’s match.

This match, which saw the largest margin of victory in FIFA Club World Cup history, was against Auckland, the champions of New Zealand and the Oceania Champions League.

Looking at the past four years, Auckland, the most successful club in the Oceania region, consists mostly of part-time players. Some of these players had to take leave from their jobs to participate in this tournament.

In the match played at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, USA, Kingsley Coman of Bayern Munich opened the scoring in the 6th minute. Twelve minutes later, Serge Gnabry scored another goal.

Bayern Munich dominated the entire match. Their third goal came from Musiala in the 20th minute, followed by another from Kingsley Coman just a minute later.

Thomas Müller scored in the 45th minute, and Musiala added another in stoppage time of the first half, making it 6-0.

In the second half, Bayern’s Jamal Musiala scored a hat-trick. With just a minute left in full time, Thomas Müller scored again, bringing the final score to 10-0.

With his two goals in this match, Thomas Müller’s total goal tally for Bayern Munich has now reached 250. This is also his last tournament playing for Bayern Munich.

Although seven teams are competing in the FIFA Club World Cup, the previous largest margin of victory was in 2022 when Al Hilal defeated Al Jazira 6-1.
