“The President’s couple inspects the stalls of the Maldivian Creativity Exhibition

The President’s couple, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed, have inspected the stalls of the Maldivian Creativity Exhibition 2025. The largest The largest creativity exhibition was launched last night at the Hulhumale Central Park with colorful events in a special ceremony. The Maldivian Creativity Exhibition 2025 or Maldives Expo 2025 is an exhibition held under the initiative and guidance of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, aimed at increasing Maldivian productivity and expanding business. This is the largest exhibition held in the Maldives targeting the creative sector.

In addition to the special area designated for showcasing the products participating in this exhibition, the public will have the opportunity to experience different skills, artistry, and creative experiences. As such, special areas have been designated under the names of Creative Economic District, Digital and Innovative District, Entertainment District, and Market District. The President’s couple has visited all these districts and inspected their activities.

The Maldivian Creativity Exhibition or Maldives Expo 2025 is an exhibition that will showcase the skillful creations of artists from all corners of the Maldives, including traditional Maldivian craftsmanship and modern artistry, under one roof. This exhibition will feature Maldivian cultural creativity as well as modern Maldivian products, innovative creations by skilled Maldivians, and presentations from the entertainment sector. In addition to showcasing Maldivian creativity and skills, the exhibition will see participation from Maldivian micro, small, and medium enterprises.

As such, this exhibition will include the Creative Economy District, Digital and Innovative District, Entertainment District, and Market Place District. Each of these districts is a section a section that includes various activities related to that area, conducted with the participation of businesses.

• Creative Economy District: This district will showcase the skills of Maldivian artists. It will feature the talents of painters and musicians, as well as Maldivian culture and traditions.

• Digital and Innovative District: This district will showcase Maldivian innovative thinking and development. It will feature Maldivian developers and Maldivian technological products.

• Entertainment District: This will show various forms of entertainment Maldivians have engaged in over time, how they have evolved, and various entertainment-related activities. Some activities are also planned to be conducted live

• Market Place District: This is a district specially dedicated to micro, small, and medium enterprises. It is a special district for marketing and selling Maldivian products. In this district, a B2B environment has been established for marketing and selling Maldivian products to local and international markets. This is a very important district for businesses.

A total of 383 participants from 14 categories and 82 sub-categories have participated in the 9-day exhibition. The highest number of entries are from the handicraft sector. The exhibition, which runs from the 23rd to the 31st of this month at the Hulhumale Central Park, will be open to the public every day from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The government states that by providing an arrangement to showcase the skills of Maldivian artists in one place, appreciating Maldivian creativity and creators, this exhibition will be a force for sustainably producing the creations of Maldivian artists.”
