The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has revealed that the risk of shutting down ambulance services has increased significantly due to fuel shortages in Gaza. Currently, only one-third of the vehicles used by PRCS to provide ambulance services to the 2.1 million people living in Gaza are operational. Many ambulances have been damaged in the aggressive attacks carried out by Jewish forces as part of the genocide against Muslims in Gaza. The Gaza aggression began on October 7, 2023. Under this aggression, Jewish forces have been deliberately targeting ambulances, health workers, and hospitals with terrorist attacks. On March 2, Jewish forces tightened the blockade on Gaza, obstructing the entry of fuel, food, and humanitarian aid supplies. Eleven weeks later, although a small amount of food and humanitarian aid was allowed to enter Gaza, it is very little compared to what the people of Gaza currently need. PRCS said that there is a high possibility of being forced to stop ambulance services due to the depletion of fuel for land vehicles.
PRCS President Younis al-Khatib said that in addition to the damage to ambulances, major challenges have been posed to ambulance services due to the depletion of medical supplies and fuel needed for medical care. And there is a high chance that the service will have to be completely stopped in the coming weeks. “I can’t say a specific time. It could be just a few days. The fuel we have is running out. Currently, we are only using one-third of the ambulances,” Khatib said. He said that the services of petrol-powered ambulances have already been suspended. He also noted that currently, only solar-powered ambulances provided by the United Nations are being used for service.
A deliberate crime to martyr many people
Khatib has also condemned the obstacles posed by Jewish forces to the entry of food into Gaza. He said that after 11 weeks, the Jewish forces allowed a very small amount of food and humanitarian aid to enter the area with the cunning intention of deliberately martyring a large number of people. “It’s something done with the intention of martyring starving people,” he said. He has also criticized the Jewish plan to take control of the distribution of food and humanitarian aid to the poor and hungry people in Gaza. And he has called on the international community to say no to this cunning plan devised with America. “It’s not even something to discuss. No, no, no. The world should not give [the Jews] the opportunity to change the system currently in place [for aid distribution],” he said.
The work of providing food and humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza is being taken over by the Jews with the participation of US President Donald Trump. The United States has created an organization called the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) to take on this task. By the end of this May, the organization is preparing to take over all aid distribution work in Gaza.
In collaboration with the United States, the Jews have planned to establish six large camps or prisons in Gaza. And to forcibly evict all the people of Gaza from their homeland and transfer them to these prisons. The Jews have planned to relocate between 5,000 and 6,000 families to each of these prisons. The control of these prisons will be in the hands of the terrorist soldiers of the Jewish army. And the Jewish army will establish special centers for distributing aid in different areas of Gaza. The responsibility for managing the security of these places has been decided to be assigned to two American companies.
