President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed yesterday for a trip to all inhabited islands of Dhaalu Atoll. The President’s Office Spokesperson Heena Waleed said that this is part of a series of trips being made in fulfillment of his pledge to visit every inhabited island twice during his presidential term to meet with the people and assess their living conditions.
Heena said that during this trip, the President will meet with all the island councils, Women’s Development Committees, and senior officials of some institutions on these islands. In addition, he is scheduled to inaugurate some development projects that have been decided to be implemented for the development of these islands, as well as officially open some completed projects. Heena also mentioned that this three-day trip is set to conclude with the President’s return to Male’ on Tuesday.
