Distribution of dates donated by Saudi Arabia to begin next Monday

The Islamic Ministry has announced that the distribution of dates donated by Saudi Arabia to the Maldives will begin across the country from next Monday. In an announcement, the Islamic Ministry stated that the distribution of dates donated by Saudi Arabia will take place from the 20th of this month until the 6th of February. The distribution of dates is scheduled to take place from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

For residents of Male’, Hulhumale’, and Vilimale’, dates will be distributed through the Islamic Center, facilitated by the Islamic Ministry. For the islands or atolls, dates will be distributed through island councils and city councils. The Islamic Ministry said that arrangements have been made to provide dates to associations and organizations that organize Iftar programs or arrange for breaking fast during Ramadan. Interested associations are requested to register with the Ministry.

Saudi Arabia has donated 50 tons of dates to the Maldives this time.
