
At the invitation of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, has arrived in the Maldives for a two-day state visit. The Prime Minister was received at the airport by the President, marking his first official visit to the Maldives since assuming office.
During this visit, official talks are scheduled to take place between the two nations, alongside the signing of key Memoranda of Understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation. Additionally, high-ranking state officials are set to pay courtesy calls on the Prime Minister. As the Maldives and Malaysia mark 58 years of diplomatic relations, this visit is expected to further enhance the long-standing ties of friendship between the two countries.
