Speaker of the Parliament, Abdul Raheem Abdulla, has delivered a stern response to former President Yameen, asserting that Yameen’s tenure concluded as a result of his arrogance, pride, tyranny, and betrayal. Criticizing Yameen’s recent remarks characterizing the People’s Majlis as a “dog kennel,” Abdul Raheem stated that such comments reflect the deep-seated resentment held by the former President. Furthermore, Abdul Raheem emphasized that the PNC members of Parliament remain steadfast and loyal to President Dr. Muizzu, maintaining that Yameen will not be afforded any opportunity to incite division within the party.
