On the sidelines of the “SIDS Global Business Network Forum,” the Minister of Human Resources, Culture, Tourism, and Development of Palau, Ngiraibelas Tmetuchl, paid a courtesy call on President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. During the meeting, both parties engaged in discussions regarding climate change and prospects for sustainable tourism development. The dialogue also touched upon the unique challenges faced by Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and potential investment opportunities. President Muizzu reaffirmed the Maldives’ commitment to working closely with Palau to advocate for the collective interests of SIDS on the international stage.
