Prosecutor General Al-Ustaadh Abbas Shareef has stated that the “PGO 2.0” project, which integrates digitalization and Artificial Intelligence into the operations of the Prosecutor General’s Office, will significantly expedite the administration of justice. With a budget of 12 million Rufiyaa and a projected completion timeline of two years, this initiative aims to enhance organizational capacity to review and file cases in court within 48 hours, while providing same-day legal counsel to investigative authorities. Furthermore, as the system is being developed in-house, it ensures the security of personal data and is expected to bring transformative efficiencies to the entire judicial sector.
