Maldivian, the national airline, has introduced a new suite of services under the “Maldivian Journey Plus” brand, designed to provide greater convenience and flexibility for travelers. This new offering consists of five specialized services: “Premier,” which provides priority check-in and boarding; “Bags,” allowing passengers to purchase additional baggage allowance at competitive rates; “Relax,” offering exclusive lounge access; “Upgrade,” providing the opportunity to upgrade to Business Class on international flights; and “Bytes,” enabling passengers to pre-order in-flight meals. These services can be booked through various airline channels up to 24 hours prior to departure. Furthermore, the airline plans to expand this initiative in its second phase by introducing additional features, including advanced seat selection.
