Maldives Immigration has introduced significant enhancements to modernise and streamline its passport services. These updates, officially inaugurated by the Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihusaan, focus on improving accessibility and customer experience.
Key features of the new services include dedicated assistance for senior citizens and persons with disabilities who may face challenges with online applications. This support extends to professional photography services and guidance throughout the application process. Furthermore, a specialised information counter and a more comfortable waiting area have been established to better serve the public.
In conjunction with these service improvements, a historical exhibition titled “Immigration Walk of Legacy” was also unveiled. This gallery showcases the evolution and milestones of Maldives Immigration over the years. These initiatives reflect the institution’s commitment to providing seamless, efficient, and user-friendly passport services to all citizens.
