
Foreign Minister Iruthisham Adam has stated that the government will prioritize the expansion of Japanese investments in the Maldives and the further strengthening of bilateral economic relations.
Speaking at a business webinar hosted by the Embassy of Japan, the Minister highlighted the ongoing structural reforms aimed at diversifying the Maldivian economy and enhancing the investment climate. She further emphasized the significant opportunities available to leverage Japanese technological expertise and innovative solutions across various sectors, including bunkering services, renewable energy, digital commerce, and financial services, in addition to the tourism industry.
