The new police station in AA. Feridhoo was officially inaugurated yesterday. The facility was opened by the Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihusaan, and the Commissioner of Police, Ali Shujau.
Constructed by MTCC, this new station is part of the ongoing efforts to transition police services into dedicated, state-owned facilities. The modern building includes both administrative offices and accommodation blocks. During the inauguration ceremony, contributors to the project were officially recognized for their support. Additionally, a commemorative tree-planting activity was held to mark the occasion.
