The Gdh. Gadhdhoo harbor development project has reached 95 percent completion. Under the scope of this project, managed by MTCC, several key components have been finalized, including harbor dredging, the construction of breakwaters and quay walls, and the establishment of a dedicated area for dhows and dinghies. Current work is focused on the installation of harbor lights and the completion of the ramp area. This significant infrastructure project aims to expand harbor capacity and enhance accessibility, incorporating specific improvements requested by the island’s residents to ensure long-term convenience.
