The official draw for the “Diamond Jubilee International Football Tournament,” held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of football in the Maldives, was conducted at PSM. The tournament features national teams from the Maldives, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
The opening match of the tournament will see Pakistan face off against Bangladesh. In its first fixture, the Maldives is set to compete against Afghanistan, marking their first encounter in nine years. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Malé from June 1st to 10th. Additionally, PSM has been appointed as the official media partner, with an agreement signed to provide live coverage of all matches.
