Aminath Rizana (43), a prominent Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher at Imaduddin School, passed away this morning at Hulhumalé Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.
With a career spanning many years in the education sector, Ms. Rizana was widely recognized as an exemplary educator, known for her diligence and the profound connection she maintained with her students. Despite the health challenges that prevented her from physical attendance at school, her unwavering passion remained dedicated to teaching and the welfare of her students.
The funeral prayer (Janazah) for Ms. Rizana is scheduled to be held today after the Asr prayer at the Hulhumalé Cemetery Mosque.
