Following the release of the documentary titled “Aisha” by the news outlet “Adhadhu,” which allegedly leveled false accusations against President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the police have conducted a search of the publication’s office and seized several electronic devices for investigative purposes.
In connection with this ongoing investigation, the passport of the outlet’s CEO, Hussain Fiyaz Moosa, has been withheld until July 26th. President Muizzu has categorically denied the allegations, describing them as defamatory to his character, and has called for legal measures to be taken against all individuals involved in the production and dissemination of the claims.
