Former Cabinet Ministers Adam Shareef and Thoriq Ibrahim, along with former Attorney General Fathimath Dhiyana Saeed, have been appointed as Ambassadors-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These appointments are part of the administrative restructuring initiated by President Dr. Muizzu following the recent Local Council elections.
In conjunction with these changes, several ministers have resigned from their posts. Furthermore, as a key measure of economic reform, the government has decided to reduce the workforce of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) by 33 percent.
