The historic Tsunami Monument area in the Maldives has been officially reopened to the public following extensive redevelopment by MTCC. This project, which commenced last February, involved significant structural and aesthetic enhancements, including coastal protection through sheet piling, the construction of modern walkways and seating areas, and extensive landscaping to add greenery to the site. Additionally, the Tsunami Monument has been relocated within the square, transforming the entire area into a safe and serene environment for families and children to enjoy.
