President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has called on members of the People’s National Congress (PNC) to begin preparations for the party’s national congress scheduled for October, aimed at strengthening internal democratic processes.
Speaking at a gathering in Rasdhoo, the President emphasized the need to identify and select capable candidates across all islands who prioritize national interests for the various positions within the congress. Expressing his commitment to making this the most fair and transparent congress held in the Maldives to date, he highlighted that a robust internal party structure is key to improving public service delivery and securing success in future elections.
