
The Spokesperson at the President’s Office, Heena Waleed, has confirmed that the President’s regular press conferences will continue as scheduled. In a social media post, Heena Waleed stated that the President has been consistently meeting with the press in accordance with the established guidelines. She further noted that these briefings, which commenced on March 1st of this year, will proceed within the same framework.
In this year’s Presidential Address, the President announced his intention to meet with the media every Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. During that announcement, he also outlined specific circumstances under which the briefings might not take place. These exceptions include public holidays, official travel requirements, or other unforeseen schedule changes. The President emphasized that, outside of these specific situations, the meetings would proceed as planned.
The Spokesperson reaffirmed that the President will continue to hold these press conferences in the coming weeks, adhering to the established protocol. To date, the President has held three such sessions under this policy. During these briefings, the President addresses inquiries from journalists regarding key government policies and ongoing national affairs.
