Ibrahim Falah, the Parliamentary Group Leader of the People’s National Congress (PNC), has expressed confidence that the party will secure a landslide victory of over 80 percent in the upcoming Local Council Elections. Speaking at a campaign rally held in Kulhudhuffushi, Falah emphasized the importance of electing councils that will cooperate with the administration to fulfill President Dr. Muizzu’s developmental pledges for the islands. He specifically urged the residents of Kulhudhuffushi to grant PNC candidates the opportunity to lead the city’s development. Furthermore, Falah noted that the main opposition party, MDP, faces a shortage of candidates in several constituencies, which he views as a strategic advantage for the PNC.
