Vilimale has successfully defended their championship title in the Golden Futsal Challenge 2026, defeating Machangolhi in the Zone 8 final. Following an intense and closely contested match, the scores remained tied at 2-2 at the end of regulation time. Vilimale ultimately secured their victory in the penalty shootout with a 4-3 result.
Vilimale’s Ali Shiyah delivered an exceptional performance, earning both the Player of the Match and the Zone’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards. Meanwhile, the accolade for the top scorer of the zone was awarded to Ahmed Hussain of the Machangolhi team.
