MTCC has announced the successful completion of sheet piling as part of the Bazaar Road Development Project. Under this initiative, a 260-meter stretch has been sheet-piled, with panel installation and land reclamation works now largely finished.
In addition, the construction of pavements and the installation of a drainage system are progressing rapidly. The project involves modernizing the road from the Local Market to the North Harbor by surfacing it with asphalt. MTCC aims to conclude the development and open the area to the public before the beginning of Ramadan. Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly reduce congestion in the harbor area and enhance the efficiency of cargo transportation and logistical operations.
