Today’s Friday sermon emphasized the significance of the month of Shabaan as a vital period for spiritual preparation ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. It was noted that although Shabaan is a month often overlooked by many, it holds great importance as it is the time when our deeds are raised to Allah the Almighty. For this reason, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) frequently observed voluntary fasts throughout this month.
The sermon further advised the faithful to maintain a balanced approach in performing good deeds, prioritizing consistency in their worship. Furthermore, believers were urged to complete any missed fasts from the previous year before the arrival of Ramadan. The sermon concluded by calling upon the community to prepare spiritually by studying the rulings of fasting, increasing Quranic recitation, and engaging in acts of charity starting from now.
