The ruling People’s National Congress (PNC) has officially inaugurated its new party office. The premises were formally opened by the President of the PNC, His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, at a special ceremony held for the occasion.
The PNC office, which was previously located on the seventh floor of H. Sea Tracs, has been relocated to its new premises at H. Veyovelaa, situated across from the Artificial Beach.
According to the latest data released by the Elections Commission of the Maldives (EC), the PNC is currently the largest political party in the country in terms of membership. Statistics from the EC show that the party now boasts 74,048 members. The opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) follows as the second-largest party, with a membership of 43,784.
