The Male’ City Group of Hospitals is preparing to begin the construction of a General Practice (GP) Clinic in Henveiru within this month. This facility is one of six clinics being established by the government to alleviate the pressure and overcrowding in the emergency rooms of major hospitals across the Greater Male’ Area.
While the Maafannu Clinic has already been inaugurated and is currently operational, the government aims to complete the clinic in Hulhumale’ Phase II by the upcoming month of Ramadan. These GP clinics are designed to provide efficient healthcare services, including general consultations, X-rays, laboratory tests, and vaccinations. Furthermore, these facilities will feature a streamlined referral system, enabling patients who require specialized care to easily secure appointments with specialists at major hospitals.
