Minister Adam Shareef Umar has stated that the newly developed council offices are designed to accommodate up to 40 employees simultaneously, featuring dedicated offices for council members. Under this project, which has been contracted to RCC and covers 55 islands, physical works are progressing rapidly in 42 islands, with foundation and column works already completed in many locations. The government aims to complete these buildings and commence services, fully equipped with furniture and server rooms, before July this year. These facilities will also include dedicated spaces for Women’s Development Committees (WDC), arrangements for providing ID card and passport services, and a multipurpose hall for community town hall meetings.
