President Muizzu has stated that immoral acts and vices can only be reduced in society through collective consensus. He announced that since December 9, 96 massage parlors have been closed following public concerns. He noted that these establishments operate under the guise of legitimate businesses while actually facilitating immoral activities, and expressed that it is a sad reality that there are people who utilize such places.
A ‘National Taskforce’ has been established to address the issue of foreigners conducting business illegally. This taskforce includes representatives from the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Internal Security, as well as Police and Immigration authorities.”
