President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended his felicitations to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister of Qatar, on the auspicious occasion of Qatar’s National Day.
In a post shared on social media to mark Qatar’s National Day, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu conveyed heartfelt greetings and good wishes on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives to the Amir, the Prime Minister, and the people of Qatar.
The President expressed his firm belief that the robust relationship between Qatar and the Maldives will be further sustained and significantly strengthened. He highlighted Qatar’s role as a key development partner for the Maldives, adding that he anticipates the bonds of friendship will be reinforced, leading to more profound and enduring people-to-people connections. Qatar’s National Day is observed annually on December 18th.
