President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the project to build handball courts in all islands will be included in next year’s budget. The President made this statement during his speech at a meeting with the people of AA. Mativaeri, as part of his ongoing tour of Ari Atoll North. The President said that the work on the handball court in Mativaeri will begin within the next two months.
“God willing, we will soon assign this project to a company, and we will be able to start the work within a maximum of two months,” the President said. He also mentioned that in the sports sector, work on an outdoor gym in the island will begin very soon.
