The foundation for the new Alif Alif Atoll Rasdhoo Council Office building has been laid. The foundation of the new Rasdhoo Council Office building was laid during President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s current tour of the islands of Alif Alif Atoll. The foundation of the Rasdhoo Council Office was laid by the Minister of Cities and Administrative Areas and Public Works, Adam Shareef Umar. The construction of the Rasdhoo Council Office building has been entrusted to Rasheed Carpentry and Constructions, RCCC.
The construction of the new Rasdhoo Council Office building is a project carried out under the government’s initiative to develop dilapidated and deteriorated council office buildings. The government’s aim is to develop new council office buildings in more than 100 islands within these five years.
