The Maldives has welcomed 112,116 tourists during the first 16 days of this month, marking an 11% increase compared to the same period last year. Despite a decline in arrivals in recent months due to regional conflicts in the Middle East, the daily average for this month has risen to 5,994 visitors. Total arrivals for the year have now reached 1.3 million, with China remaining the leading source market. Data further indicates that a significant majority of these tourists opted to spend their holidays at resorts.
