The Maldives has been drawn into Group B alongside India and Pakistan for the upcoming SAFF Championship, scheduled to take place in Bangladesh this November. Group A will consist of the hosts Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan, with Nepal expected to join them if their current suspension is lifted. The tournament is set to be held from November 4th to 17th. Following an early exit in the group stages of the previous edition, this year’s competition presents a significant opportunity for the Maldives as they prepare to face formidable rivals India and Pakistan in the opening rounds.
