Mohamed Aan Hussain has broken the national record in the men’s long course 50-meter freestyle event.
Aan set this new record while competing in the ongoing 22nd World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, finishing the race in 23.81 seconds.
The previous national record for this event was also held by Aan. He had set that record last year at the Paris Olympic Games in Paris, completing the race in 24.22 seconds.
