As concerns grow over the martyrdom of millions of innocent civilians in Gaza due to starvation, Israel has decided to suspend attacks in some areas to facilitate the entry of aid into Gaza.

In an announcement, the Israeli military stated that hostilities would be paused for 10 hours in three areas of Gaza. They also said that additional safe routes for aid to enter Gaza would be opened from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Since October 7, 2023, when Israel began its genocidal campaign against the people of Gaza, the blockade on Gaza has been intensified after March 2 of this year.

In recent weeks, the number of people dying from malnutrition in Gaza has increased dramatically. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 127 people have died from malnutrition since the war began, including 85 children.

The Egyptian Red Crescent said that on Sunday, more than 100 trucks carrying over 1,200 metric tons of food aid were being sent to southern Gaza.

After March 19, Israel has allowed a small amount of food to enter Gaza. However, this opportunity was only given to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), an organization created in collaboration with the United States to bring the task of providing food to the 2.3 million people starving in Gaza under Israeli control.

However, many countries continue to express concern that a large portion of Gaza’s population does not have access to adequate food and is facing starvation.
