It has been revealed that in the war initiated by Jews against Iran, one of the country’s largest prisons was bombed, resulting in the martyrdom of 71 people. During the 12-day war, Jews bombed Evin Prison, located in Iran’s capital, Tehran. This prison primarily houses political prisoners. The Jewish bombing of Evin Prison occurred in the final days of the war. Various Iranian sources have reported that the prison was bombed on June 23. However, at the time, it was believed that the attack did not cause significant damage.

The Iranian Ministry of Justice stated that those martyred in the Jewish attack included prison administrative staff, young people undergoing military training, prisoners, family members who had come to visit them, and civilians living in the area. The Jewish attack caused the most damage to the prison’s administrative building. Prisoners from this facility have been transferred to other prisons. The exact number of detainees in the prison is unclear. However, it is known to house individuals from other countries as well, including those from Western nations.

In the war that Jews started against Iran on June 13, about 700 people were martyred. These included Iranian military commanders, scientists, journalists, health workers, and athletes.
