The whistleblower system, introduced to reduce the losses to the state due to corruption and to prevent corrupt acts, is a very important gateway opened for reporting and publicizing acts of corruption. However, very few people take advantage of this opportunity. The Whistleblower Protection Act is a law that ensures legal protection for those who report acts of corruption. According to the law, whistleblowing is the act of submitting information to the relevant authority about a negative action that has been, is being, or might be committed by a state institution or a private entity.
June 23rd of each year is dedicated as World Whistleblowers Day in various parts of the world. This day is observed to recognize and appreciate those who report negative actions occurring in the work environment and blow the whistle
