In response to the United States’ attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, the Houthi rebels, who control a large part of Yemen, have issued a strong warning. Mohammed al-Farah, a member of the Houthi group, said that US President Donald Trump does not want to end the war. He also said that the US bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities was a mistake. “Destroying a nuclear facility is not the end of a war. It’s the beginning,” the Houthi official said.
Hours earlier, Houthi rebels had warned that they would attack US ships if they entered the ongoing war between Israel and Iran. The Houthi rebels have previously attacked ships traveling through the Red Sea that were associated with or supportive of Israel. In response, the United States has sent aircraft carriers and military maneuvers to the Middle East.
Trump said that the US military used aircraft to attack three Iranian nuclear sites. He stated that the attacks were carried out on nuclear sites in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan, and also claimed that the attacks were successful. However, he did not specify what damage was done to the nuclear facilities in these attacks.
