Agreements with airlines and tour operators to increase the number of tourists

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has signed 4 agreements to promote the Maldives in various parts of the world. MMPRC is carrying out numerous activities to promote the Maldives at the market being held from 28th of this month to 1st May at the Dubai World Trade Center. As such, 4 agreements have been signed so far to promote tourism in different parts of the world.

The agreements were signed on behalf of MMPRC by Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree. The Minister of Tourism and Environment, Tariq Ibrahim, participated in the signing ceremonies of these agreements. The first agreement signed by the Maldives was with Emirates Airlines. Under this agreement, Emirates will work to promote the Maldives in the regions where Emirates operates. In addition, they will work together to promote Maldivian businesses.

The Maldives then signed an agreement with Qatar Airways. Under the agreement signed with Qatar Airways, Qatar Airways will also promote Maldives tourism in various regions. Qatar Airways also says that they will work to increase the number of tourists coming to the Maldives.

An agreement has also been signed to promote Maldives tourism in the Russian and CIS markets. With this agreement signed with Resort Life Company of the Maldives, Resort Life has said that they will work with MMPRC to bring more tourists from that region. MMPRC has also stated that marketing strategies will be developed with Resort Life, which is already working in this region.

In addition to this agreement, MMPRC has also signed with the Association of Tour Operators of India to increase the number of tourists coming from the Indian market. Under this agreement, efforts will be made to increase the number of tourists coming to the Maldives from India. MMPRC believes that with these agreements, the current work being done to promote Maldives tourism will be further expanded.
