Health Minister Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim has inspected the ongoing project to expand and modernize the Emergency Room (ER) of Hulhumale Hospital. The Minister observed the progress of this project during a visit to the hospital today. Male’ Group of Hospitals had signed an agreement with Road Development Corporation last year to develop the Emergency Room (ER) of Hulhumale Hospital to modern standards.
Under this agreement, it has been decided to transform the current 7-bed emergency room into a 14-bed facility with modern equipment, specializing in providing care for critical conditions. Additionally, during this visit, the Minister discussed expanding the current services provided by the hospital and resolving the difficulties faced in service delivery.
In this regard, discussions were held on reducing the queue for doctor consultations and arranging for citizens to receive services more conveniently.”
