Agreement reached to build fuel tanks in Hulhumale’ Phase 2

An agreement has been signed between MTCC and STELCO to construct fuel storage tanks in Hulhumale’ Phase 2.

According to a post made by MTCC on X (formerly Twitter), these tanks agreed to be built in Phase 2 will increase STELCO’s capacity during peak electricity demand times, allowing for a more reliable electricity service to be provided to the public.

The agreement was signed on behalf of MTCC by the company’s Managing Director, (Retired) Deputy Commissioner of Police Ahmed Saudhee. For STELCO, the agreement was signed by the company’s Managing Director, Hussain Fahmy.

These fuel tanks will enhance STELCO’s ability to meet electricity demands during peak hours, ensuring a more dependable power supply for the residents.
