The Chief Executive Officer of MIFCO, Mohamed Anas, has met with the fishermen of Thinadhoo City to gain a deeper understanding of their concerns. This visit is part of a series of official trips conducted to assess the operational status of MIFCO centers and to further enhance the quality of services provided.
During the meeting, the CEO assured the fishermen that efforts would be made to resolve the challenges they currently face. Furthermore, he inspected the progress of the Thinadhoo Fisheries Complex, a project expected to significantly alleviate the difficulties Huvadhu Atoll fishermen encounter in weighing and selling their catch. MIFCO remains committed to working closely with the fishing community to drive the sustainable development of the Maldives’ fisheries industry.
