
In her message on the occasion of World Food Safety Day, First Lady Sajidha Mohamed emphasized that ensuring the consumption of safe food is a collective responsibility vital for safeguarding public health. She highlighted that to reduce foodborne illnesses, it is crucial to maintain hygiene standards throughout the entire supply chain—from producers to consumers. Her Excellency further stated that a healthy future can only be built through collaborative efforts. Additionally, she noted that the government is currently implementing significant measures to strengthen food safety and security.
