President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced an ambitious target to train approximately 1,000 youth annually, with two additional batches of the National Service Program scheduled for the remainder of this year. To date, over 600 young individuals have successfully completed the program, a significant number of whom have already secured employment. This initiative represents a cornerstone of the government’s efforts to cultivate a responsible workforce that is deeply rooted in national values and respect for Islamic principles.
Both participants and parents have observed profound positive transformations resulting from the program, particularly in areas such as character development, punctuality, and self-confidence. Since its inception in October last year, the government has committed to facilitating employment opportunities within state institutions for those who complete the training. The President extended his gratitude to all collaborating institutions and parents for their vital roles in ensuring the program’s success.
