The Member of Parliament for the Baarah constituency, Ibrahim Shujau, has asserted that former Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed is opposing the current administration solely because he was not granted a cabinet post.
Speaking at a gathering held at the PNC headquarters, Shujau characterized Dr. Jameel as an opportunistic individual, further claiming that his intentions and loyalty towards former President Yameen are insincere. Additionally, Shujau stated that it is President Muizzu who holds genuine respect for President Yameen. He also described some of the recent rhetoric from President Yameen as being “out of line” and irrational.
