President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has conducted an inspection to observe the ongoing progress of the Boduthakurufaanu Magu development project on the northern side of Malé. This project, contracted to MTCC, involves the modern redevelopment of a 700-meter stretch of the road, which will be paved with asphalt. As part of the infrastructure enhancements, a section of the harbor area has already been reclaimed to establish a large-scale parking zone with a capacity for 500 motorcycles. MTCC aims to commence asphalt laying in June, with the goal of completing all works and opening the road to the public by July.
