The Speaker of the People’s Majlis, Abdul Raheem Abdulla, has issued a scathing critique following the political alignment of former Presidents Yameen, Nasheed, and Solih. Abdul Raheem remarked that by joining forces, these three leaders have effectively condoned the major scandals and grievances of the past, including the controversial airport deal, the MMPRC embezzlement case, executive interference in the judiciary, and the loss of Maldivian maritime territory. He further characterized this coalition as an alliance driven purely by self-interest and political expediency rather than the national interest.
