Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, has assured that the government will work towards resolving the challenges and concerns currently faced by the business community in Addu City. He made these remarks at the closing ceremony of the “Addu Business Dialogue,” a forum dedicated to discussing special incentives planned for the period 2027–2029 to stimulate Addu’s economy.
During the two-day symposium, the Minister affirmed that the proposals and feedback from businesses have been duly noted. He further guaranteed that necessary amendments would be made to policies and regulations to reflect these considerations. The primary objective of this dialogue was to enhance the participation of the business sector in realizing the President’s developmental vision for Addu, while identifying the essential support and facilities required by the community.
